What we collect
We collect only what you type into a form on this site:
- Beta waitlist: your email, whether you use iPhone or Android, and, if you add them, your first name and your next trip.
- Business, partner and creator forms: your name, email, company or organisation, social handle, team size and your message.
- With every form we also record the page it was sent from and the time.
We don't collect your location, contacts or anything from your phone through this site.
Why we collect it
To email your beta invite and beta updates, and to reply to business, partner and creator enquiries. We don't sell your details or use them for advertising. If we ever want to send marketing, we'll ask first.
How long we keep it
Waitlist entries are kept until the beta ends and invites have gone out, then deleted or moved into the app's own account system if you sign up. Enquiries are kept for [retention period, e.g. 12 months].
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to be removed from the waitlist, at any time: email [help@dayo.world]. Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 you may also complain to the National Privacy Commission. If you're in the EU, UK or California, the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA give you similar rights and we'll honour them.
Children
The beta and this site are for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect details from anyone younger; if that happens, tell us and we'll delete them.
