eSIM compatible phones

Most iPhones from the XS onward, recent Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones support eSIM. Pick yours to check, or dial *#06#: if you see an EID, you are good to go.

Phones bought locked to a carrier may need unlocking first. Sample list for this preview.

Some models sold in certain countries ship without eSIM. If yours says "depends", check for an EID.

Three ways to be sure

  1. Dial *#06#

If an EID number shows up, your phone supports eSIM.

  2. Check settings

iPhone: Settings › Cellular › Add eSIM. Android: look for eSIM or SIM manager in network settings.

  3. Make sure it is unlocked

Phones bought on a postpaid plan can be locked to that network. Your carrier can unlock it.
