Taiwan eSIM questions
Which network will I use in Taiwan?
Dayo connects to Chunghwa Telecom, 5G. If that network is busy, your phone can switch to a partner network automatically.
Will I have data as soon as I land at Taoyuan (TPE)?
Yes. Install Dayo at home before you fly, then turn it on when you land. Your plan's days start the first time it connects in Taiwan, so you can book an Uber from the arrivals hall.
Does it work outside Taipei?
Yes. Your plan works anywhere the network covers in Taiwan, including Kaohsiung.
Visiting more than one country?
A regional plan may be better: Asia 9 covers Taiwan and its neighbours on one eSIM.
